Recently, several fires and explosions have occurred in college and university laboratories due to improper experimental operations or negligence in chemical
management resulting in student injuries. Although no major disasters have occurred, the causes are clearly human factors. Therefore, we request that your school implement laboratory use and safety management matters in accordance with
1. "General Precautions and Safety Guidelines for School Laboratories" and
2. "Guidelines for Safety Inspection and Contact Mechanism of Water-Restricted Substances in Laboratories at All Levels of Schools".
