For applications to import or export infectious substances that involve Risk Group 2 (RG2) pathogens or general medical biotoxins, the applying institution must comply with Article 9 of the regulations, appoint a Biosafety Officer, and have the application approved by the local health bureau.

Our school currently does not have a Biosafety Level 2 laboratory and has not yet registered a biosafety officer. If you need to purchase biomaterials of level 2 or higher, please contact the Office of Environment and Safety at extension 1232.
